Like the title says and like I have mentioned before on my earlier post, our life here on Earth is just temporary because we belong somewhere else...in heaven. As Christians, we believe that our true home is in heaven. Therefore, everything that we owned here are just temporary and as a result, we should not focus on worldly things that would not last forever. Instead, we should be focusing on how we can improve ourselves in this world so that we can be worthy of heaven when we die. This doesn't mean that we can't enjoy our time here and work hard to be successful in this world. We just have to remember that everything in this world and everything that we accomplish comes from God therefore, when we are successful , we have to remember God to thank and glorify Him for what He has done in our life. Without Him, we are nothing.
Also we have to remember that our accomplishment in this world means nothing when we pass on therefore, it is wise not to spend all of our energy and effort to things that wont last forever rather, focus on glorifying, pleasing, and doing God's work while we still have time in this world.
